Emergency Housing Design

MBB’s award-winning design was a finalist in the City of New York Office of Emergency Management’s competition to develop provisional housing to address future Katrina-like disasters. The design proposed that each municipality throughout the country be outfitted with our “Community Provisional Residence.” This kit-of-parts house fits in a box, can be deployed locally or sent to regional disaster sites, and is fully recyclable for future use.
