Park Avenue Synagogue’s Eli M. Black Lifelong Learning Center is a finalist for a NYCxDesign Award. MBB transformed a seven-story townhouse into a learning center for all ages. The building now includes a gracious lobby, classrooms, a chapel, and a rooftop terrace and garden. A collaboration with designer Amy Reichert produced site specific art installations based on the synagogue’s values, and incorporated the stained glass windows designed by Adolph Gottlieb in 1954.
